Another Unsung Hero

                                                 Oh natives!
In the melancholy darkness,
You sleep away your worries,
We wish for the same,
But manage away with another sleepless night,
Guarding what you own,
With a heavy heart filled with apprehension.

You cuddle with your beloved,
Enjoying the pleasant warmth,
We rub our frigid palms,
Clinging to our jackets for relief from the snow,
Mind with hostility.

You enjoy the homely feeling,
And relax with all you own,
We are alerted for enemy,
And stiffen with our weapons

You enjoy in your companion’s company,
You relish the care and love of your dear ones,
We dream of our beloved,
And yearn for true love.

You run to your beloved,
At time of distress,
You pacify your venerated,
We store our worries in mind,
Awaiting our vacation,
To see our adored.

Oh natives!
You sleep with peace,
For we guard at night,
Another gun shoots,
Another life departs,
Another soldier dies,
The country lost another unsung hero.
