GNIAZDO
Podłoga wciąż szara
nawet nie ma śladu stopy
wypalona świeca
na kominku
w mym ulubionym wazonie
wyschły już kwiaty
Dostałam je od ciebie
rok temu
– pamiętasz?
Obrus nadal ten sam
tyle tylko że przy stole
jedno krzesło zawsze puste
za oknem
słychać śmiejące się dzieci
tutaj wszystko jest dziurawe
nawet pościel w której się gnieźdzę
odkąd odszedłeś
Translation:
NEST
The floor is still grey
not even a footprint
burnt out candle
on a mantelpiece
in my favourite vase
the flowers dried out
I got them from you
– do you remember?
The tablecloth is still the same
but at the table
one chair always empty
outside the window
I hear children’s laughter
here everything has holes in it
even the bed linen I nestle in
since you went away
