Princess for a Day

by Nirvik

I'm the Princess for today,
Everyone will part and give me way,
All the world would bow to me,
Even the mighty big Sea.

The peaceful forest is where my breakfast will be,
Around the grass, deers and pretty trees.
The songbirds will sing me a song,
While I hum along.

In my Castle, I will make flower crowns,
And turn them into belts for my pretty gowns.
Then when it's time for lunch,
I'll have sandwiches and punch.

In the afternoon, I will go swimming in the lake,
While eating a big piece of chocolate cake.
Back in the Castle, maids will braid my hair,
While the chefs rush here and there.

Its time to get ready for the grand Ball,
To have fun with one and all.
We will dance,we will sing, we will also talk.
We will even do something called the Royal Walk.

When it's time for bed and I take the Tiara off my head,
My day for being a Princess would have been over,
But I will wish to stay the Princess forever.
