The waves are tossing up and down,

On the sand lies seaweed brown,

The birds are always on the wing,

Bees are humming in the ling,

The gnats are darting through the air,

Dragon-flies flit here and there,

Squirrels are racing up the trees,
Just like this; just like this;
Rabbits scurry o'er the leas,
Just like this; just like this.

Forest ponies frisk and prance,

Little children play and dance,
