We’ve done this over a hundred times
Our dates have now blurred into one
Each time is different that is true
But can’t we end this and be done?
I’ve tried and tried to keep focus
But public life is not for me
I hate this needing to go out
It exhausts and drains my energy!
I want to stay inside with you
And laugh and play some games together
Can’t you see I just want us
No pretty dress or fancy sweater?
The couch is where we’ll spend the night
With games and movies and popcorn
I’ll even make you some green tea!
We’ll cuddle up and be real warm
I know this is totally not the norm
And you really like the social scene
But now that I have said my peace
