I had no place else to go
Living on the streets I had nothing but time
I was begging for nickels and dimes
Just to have enough to eat
I didn't even have shoe's on my feet

Beat me and I went down in flames

Here I sit in this land called despair felling down
I'm healthy and fit and I'm laying on ground
I got myself up and started moving around
I told my self get you lazy ass up and start to pound
those streets and find a job even if you walk every street in town
