Sonnet by Junia

I cannot stop thinking about that day,
With wild hair blowing in the soft, strong wind;
You stole my heart with a smile like a fae,
One look from you and I am found pinned.

Immortal being in my lowly life,
You glow bright, a star, and grin as a beast.
I’d give up everything without a strife,
I find that without you I am the least.

But I guess that even though you are gone.
Even though life has its terrible stings,
I know that you’d want me to carry on.
I feel like a bird without its’ great wings.

I don’t want to be all super sappy,
But you made my dark heart very happy.
