There once was a girl alone in the world,
She built up her walls and called it her home.
She built them so high no man could climb,
Those that dared try gave up with some time.

There once was a boy full of sorrow yet kind,
He came upon the girls castle and swore it he'd climb.
For years he tried to lure her out telling her stories,
of his life all his failures and some of his glories.

Behind her walls, she sat and she listened.
As the sun rose and til the moon in the sky glistened.
In time, she told him of her life's up and downs.
They'd laugh and they'd cry and they're fears slowly drowned.

Her walls each day smaller would get,
as their talks would grow longer with no regrets.
She'd look out her castle and down at the boy,
who came along and her walls did destroy.

The boy each day would come and talk to the girl,
as his sorrows did shrink and happiness grew.
One day the castle doors finally did open,
and into her castle and heart, he was let in.
