We spend our time crushing all these sweet candies but get bitter when the saga that is our lives doesn't get better!
The person next to me is listening to music while eating a sandwich from Subway, the person behind him is surfing the Internet, while I play Subway Surfers!
We have become so unsociable that social media mandates meeting momentary material standards as most meaningful!
Such as: if people don't like your dress than it goes into the trash!
If people don't approve of your partner, then prudently part from them!
If your antagonism is against the system, then your view of reality is questioned like you are wearing Virtual Reality... goggles!

But I also fuel the machine that manufactures materialism over man!
The same way I tell people to never kiss and tell,
Yet when Wanda falls for my Vision I'll post and repost our images into 'Infinity', because I love how out of my 'Mind' I get when she is around, and how 'stoned' she makes me feel!
I got off topic there...
Cellular phones, yes!
We blame the corporate machine for prioritising profits over people,
But pining over it is purely pointless since we perpetually purchase products counterproductive to our progress!
Instead of taking a stand and connecting against disconnecting within our communities for commodities with low future value... cellphones!
Since I wrote this piece from my cellphone, if people are taking a stand, my stand will be from the sidelines!

I guess we can say my phone is controlling me, since I cannot put it down!
It literally wakes me up and recommends the best restaurants in town
We could say it's worse than videogames, since the device is 'playing' me!
Equivalent to drugs since it is 'using' me!
Should we blame the devices or the human condition?
I mean, we're the ones going out of our way to push people out of the way to acquire them on their release day,
So on the same token, we can claim that our moral compass is broken!

Now tell me, how do we put ourselves together, then help our fellow man?
Tell me... what is the plan?
