Member Poem

In my dream you looked deeply into my eyes as you have done hundreds of times as a younger you. As you visited the inside of all that I hold precious, you shared the beautiful picturesque moments, frame by frame, of all the times one forgets. Smiling so widely that night, two hundred people yet our eyes never left one's side.

 

So many moons have passed. You returned quietly to smile. That beautiful smile that could light one thousand ships oh how it launched my own. A few more wrinkles dressed upon your pale skin, tall and lanky, still.....Yet ten years could be ten days and it all lives in the realness of our gaze. 

Love now replaces wants, we wish for no replacements from the abundant love given to us separately every day in the now. 

However............................I wish to thank you as I somehow think you have thought and had a moment to remiss. 

Everything, every feeling happened in a brief period of mystery. 

Where we knew not who we would become or who would eventually become our great loved ones. 

 

Thank you for showing me that I was worthy of him....and that I did deserve the moon, the stars and all that shines in the golden rays of sunlight as he holds me nightly, tight with excitement and built up anticipation to begin the next chapter of the simplistic beauty that we call life.
