We ran through the forest at the speed of a wavelength
Purple clouds crowded the sky
The soil was steaming, lavender scented the air

Reggae jams played from his boombox, accompanying us to cascading waters
I could taste the electricity, sparking in my mouth, tickling my throat
Romeo Santos, you are the Bachata king of my night club

We never ran, we like to take things slowly
And we held hands and jumped into the waterfall of gold
Where’s the kush?

Tropical bridge views feeding our brains with celestial vibes
Aliens can be our friends if we go surfing on a plush blue rainbow
Arriba, abajo, al centro, pa dentro
Clinking our jars of green apple juice

The rocks cried of weakness, cringed at the outdoors
And envied the pebbles for their petite size
I soared across the jungle, wind in my tangles
Squealing like a parakeet as I dive into the golden waters

This year it will happen, we’ll dance under the stars when the meteors hit and sprinkle moon dust on the sand
The eyes will all blink at the same time, dropping one single tear of comets

Sarita, look up! She is being called by the cosmic rays and I look to see the orange haze
We can jump from planet to planet if we have the right shoes
Look! The vines are braiding their hair! And the trees are teasing their curls!
