A Mistresse

Her for a Mistris would I faine enjoy
That hangs the lippe and pouts for every toy:
Speakes like a wag, is fair, dares boldly stand
And rear Loves standard with a wanton hand;
Who in Loves fight for one blow will give three,
And being stabb'd falls streight a kissing me.
For if she want those tricks of venery
Wer't Venus selfe, I could not love her, I.
If she be modest, wise, and chaste of life,
Hang her! she's fit for nothing but a wife.
