National Unity
A nobler unity, than that which came
From out the conflict of our sires of old,
Which gave to us throughout the world a name
Shall we, our trials past, at length behold;
A unity of Justice and of Power,
As theirs of Freedom from a foreign foe;
Through the dark clouds, that o'er the nation lower,
We see its rising sun, its morning glow.
No more shall party spirit rule the land,
But One Great Thought inspire each freeman's breast,
The rock on which alone our cause can stand,
The Love of Man and Justice for the oppressed.
Arise, O sun of Freedom to restore
Their rights to all! Arise! and set no more!
From out the conflict of our sires of old,
Which gave to us throughout the world a name
Shall we, our trials past, at length behold;
A unity of Justice and of Power,
As theirs of Freedom from a foreign foe;
