The Vision

Suddenly horizons clouded
and the day grew dim,
trees shed their leaves
and the skeletons of fish
danced in the seas,
every face confronted another,
each destiny found its mate
and the father repudiated his son
walking away from him.
Then I woke up, and Bidpai
said to Dabshalim:
Man is whatever choice he makes.
