A Visitor

The girl called the wind
Came running through,
What she thought to find
I never knew.

She had long hair
That brushed me as she ran.
I tried to catch her
But one never can.

I found a green room
On the hillside,
The roof was low
But the doors were wide.

I thought I was alone
When suddenly I heard
The amber flute song
Of a cat bird.

And then the girl wind
Came running through.
I think her feet were white
And her dress was blue.
