Desire

Once Upon a time
We all have felt desire
To dwell amongst a land
Where fruit is fresh and sweet
Where fairytales dwell
And happily ever After resides

Some do dwell in such a place
Learning skillful composure
Living with beauty and grace

There the royals gather round
Cheer and laughter both abound

I, a princess, noble born
Yet my heart was always torn
There in my castle I sat
Eyes glazed not seeing
Anything beyond the grey moat
