A Disorderly Corridor

As I wandered through the hall,
I thought I heard a faint applause.

Where could it be coming from?
Through this door, no it's that one.

But there are trick doors everywhere I go,
I realize as I sprint down the corridor.

Oh no! A book just flew past.
It had tiny wings, and I gasp.

This confounding passage never ends,
And I only brought my fountain pen.

Presently, I see blurry shapes and dizzying outlines.
When I awaken, what will I find?

I’m lost in this labyrinthine library again.
I must have tripped and bumped my head.
