A Long Day At Work

HE created the lands for HIS creatures,
and the trees for the bees.
HE'S our sun during the day
turning into our light bulb at night.
The finest thing about HIS radiating light
is that it never turns off in HIS home.
HE loves to bowl with HIS angels in HIS house,
causing rolling thunder sounds in HIS basement.
Someone in HIS home seems to always break a lamp.
This causes the light to strike.
When HE'S not bowling, HE'S dancing,
Sweeping up all HIS un-believers with tornadoes.
HE drops them off at HIS rival's house
So HE can rejoice with HIS believers in HIS own.
Rain falls drom HIS eyes when HE'S sad.
To cheer HIM up HE draws rainbows on HIS basement walls,
one end to the other.
HE blows warm air in the summer
and cools HIS vegetable soup in the winter.
An earthquake happens only after a long day at work.
To relax, HE fills HIS bath water to sea level just before bed.
HE then climbs in bed to protect us all while we sleep,
so that we can wake to a new day.
If you haven't yet figured out who "HE" is,
then "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you."
