"My Father, My Lord, My Leige"

I find my love for thee doth abscond words.
As deep as the river may run,
As much as the firmament may enshroud,
As rough as the waves may pound,
The love thou begets is twice in power.
It embraces thee; deserved by thy amity.
I know the evanescence of opulence;
It hath no station in my adoration of thee.
As silver kissed by the luminous orb doth dull,
As gold embraced by Apollo doth melt,
As pearl borne by the sea doth shatter,
As beauty bestowed by youth doth die,
Paternal love doth remain.
Forsooth my feeling owes such perpetuality.
My Father, my lord, my leige forever.
