My Struggle

by

In troubled times, by myself, I fought
Bearing the pain, which I hardly could.
Was all that worth it, I thought
But I tried, for the sake of good

Stubborn I was, victory was my focus.
Determination engulfed me, I bucked up.
Almost forgetting, I would cause ruckus,
Abandoning resolve, I almost gave up.

But dream would shatter, would they not,
I came a long way, useless it would become.
Could you lend me a hand, it would mean a lot.
Together we could make it, and not succumb.

Alone we perish, together we prevail
Success come not, without fail.
