Snowflake

With fading lights
the jingles rose,
alone he ran
towards the hearth

He catched the snow
palms flexed, heart soft.
A snowflake with million
curves rested, unaware

He cared for it, adored
its perfect symmetries
until all of it dissolved
Into all of him.

He screamed louder
than humans are
able to hear

His body, too frail
to be visible on the
spectrum.

He cried
tears enough to
soak his soul

He loved. Oh, he
loved even more
