Sonnet #1

As the day falls with clouds lurking above,
Meadow shines with dew under the red dusk,
Darkness engulfs earth as a silky glove
Evil mute, everything picturesque.

Beauty that fails at day, now shows its might
Stars that twinkle, reveal their utter glee
With Moon among them, leader; thier white knight
Rises from horizon, sea the kissee

Wind flows through like maudlin lotharios,
Gropes and teases every being alike
So elegant yet, close to dawn it bows,
Then past streets, over mountains it does hike

With imperfections still, wins anyway
Soothes by night, tortures that prevail through day
