Sonnet of Fantasy
Soft bubbling laughter floats on the air
The giggles are coupled with glowing lights
Leaves rustling and flowers blooming are fair
All these signs can only mean fairy flights
The many sprites unfold their wings and fly
Small legs kick and small arms raise for the dance
The noise lures sirens into the night sky
Allusive mermaids' lyrics cause a trance
It's not long before the unicorns arrive
Griffins begin to stride into the throng
Kelpies ascend in humble factions of five
The cluster dances as if nothing is wrong
But then dragons blazing come bringing fire
The magic beings are killed by hellfire
