Like a wandering nomad
A river sets out on a
long and meandering journey
etching a serpentine path
twisting and turning
like a fashion model
walking down the catwalk,
Capturing the sparkles of a rising sun,
Reflecting the blush of the setting sun.
Lying there writhing and squirming
like a seductive enchantress,
She beckons the weary wayfarers
to quench their thirst
from her refreshing sap
before she forever obliterates
her sole identity and coalesced
into the welcoming bosom of the sea,
like the newlywed surrenders herself
to her lover with a shy blush.
