A Christmas Carroll — 1655

A Christmas Carroll — 1655

Must lewes come in
And is it not a sin?
To goe about
To cast Christ out?
I will not say
That This the Day
With selebration we adorn
That He for us was born
Because the Scriptures therein silent be
As dictated by God's Decree
But sure I am such Love such Mercy and Grace
In Hart in Thought, in Pen doe claim their Place.
