Morning

The morning now right earlily in dew
Bathes her sweet naked limbs of fairest hue
Which like a vail all carless thrown aback
Oer her white shoulders hing her hair so black
& when the sun a minute earlier rose
The lovely morning sought her cloudy cloaths
But finding none she hastning shrank away
For night abashed had startled into day
The sun reignd absolute in cloudless sky
& wooed morns timid beauty to comply
& scarlet as the dress she earlier wore
Her white face turned that was so fair before
While fear in every limb diffused its charms
As soft she sighed & melted in his arms.
