Beacon Street

Monomaniacal
               Read it in Armantrout
Loved it, a less salubrious word in the morning after pill of crisis
A word for adults, suffused by a new language
Purpose, being the child, the olive trees and lamps
Those goods which are sold in some well purchased IPO – I have come to catch your voice.

Chicken Fox
A much wilder beast, internally traded, lechery
St. Paddy’s in Boston, some native where the frost always falls
Grows happier by night, all news is foreign policy
And all the world fears the oceans and their unknown tastes
But not all of the writers seem to care – they have their own foxes, their own planes to catch.

Commutative Properties
The question on the dry, mechanical tongues
Is simple: were the money-changers ousted for their own protection?
A sort of adult language game eluding even Wittgenstein
So what? Vox populi may cavort with anti-vaccine witchcraft, so what?
But, come on bro, you hear them say, can we just get back to some kind of definition.
