At the edge of the World

Standing here,
At the edge of the world
I'm living,
Right at this moment
More than I've ever lived.

Witnessing time passing me by
Back and forth, everywhere
As meadows filled with sweet breeze does
At the end of spring
Carrying that mild staunch of rain.
Unsure whether you'll be able to
See this, feel this, hear this
In the eternal beyond
Right in front of me
Realising there isn't much to do
At the edge, I fall asleep
And dream of sweet nothings
Until there's this silence,
That hits me harder than
Any noise ever could
Waking me up, grabbing me by the shoulders
Shaking my body until my eyes open
And all I can see is
Death
Death

And death
