Jasmine
One sip
Of what she has to offer
And I’m already blind drunk
Referring to her as something foreign
Youthful charm
Kept me company for a night
Then gracefully casted a spell
On someone else
Those two dark orbs of hers
So hypnotising, full of curiosity
Creature with a daring nature
Made me question my own intentions
A blessing in disguise
Or an answer to my prayers
Ever since we intertwined
In that scenic park
There’s this urge
To let go of my hesitation
Embrace the chaos
Till I run out of breath
Bleeding words, I dedicate this poem to her
A blooming jasmine in an abandoned garden
Book I’ve read a thousand times
Can’t get tired of its content still
Never fail to surprise me
She’s my painful thrill
