Little Spiders

Little spiders on the floor,
Who knows what they're waiting for?
They'll creep around without a sound,
Looking for a place to stay.
First they rested in the sink.
But soon they cried, "That's far too wet!"
The spiders didn't like the sink.
So now they had to try and think.
And then one said "Why not the shed?"
The spiders rested in the shed.
But soon they cried "It's far too old!"
The spiders did not like the shed.
So now they had to use their heads.
Then one said, "Why not the web?"
The spiders rested in the web.
But then they cried, "But I'm so bored!"
The spiders did not like the web.
So now they wondered once again.
Where to go, and where to stay?
And then one said, "Why not the bed?"
The spiders rested in the bed.
Soon they fell asleep at last.
So little child, do your bed,
Or you'll have spiders in your head!
