Love: Redefined

One should not "fall in love",
for, that implies a sinking.
Instead, one should "rise into love",
Yes, that is what I'm thinking.

That's what love does anyways,
It lifts us up inside.
It doesn't take us lower,
When those 2 hearts collide.

No, love its not a dropping,
It's much more like an ascension.
It takes you higher than anything can,
the sharing of one's affection.

So, next time that you think you're in love,
Does it make you smile or make you frown?
Because you should be rising into love,
not falling down.
