The angel greets the Virgin mild:
" Hail, Mary, full of grace! thy Child
The Son of God shall be. "
Ring out o'er land and sea
Glad bells, All-hail!
Immanuel comes to you and me.
O Babe new-born
This happy morn,
O Flower from thorn,
" All-hail "
We sing, with radiant Gabriel,
Hail, Mother of Immanuel!
