52. False Claims -

To you will I commend my book;
That is if Fidentinus brook
My claim to keep an owner's rights;
He always steals what he recites.
Should he oppress it or enslave,
Defend it and convict the knave;
And if he claim its lord to be,
Say it was mine but now is free.
Three times and four the truth proclaim
And put the kidnapper to shame.
