84. On Quirinalis -
Children he wants, but fears the marriage bond;
Yet his dislikes and fancies correspond;
For kindly handmaids set the matter right;
The fields and mansions of the worthy knight
Are well supplied with slavelings — knightlings rather:
To each of whom he is a proper father.
Yet his dislikes and fancies correspond;
For kindly handmaids set the matter right;
The fields and mansions of the worthy knight
Are well supplied with slavelings — knightlings rather:
To each of whom he is a proper father.
