These relics of Sokhares, the cynic: a staff, a pair of sandals, a filthy oil-flask of leather, and this tattered remnant of a wallet filled with ancient wisdom, are offered to you, revered Aphrodite. When beautiful Rhodon caught the old seer, he placed them over this portal.
