Classic Poem

Spring, surgent in the sense-delighted blood;
In daybreak being all the burst of bud.
This, beyond argument, was well begun.

Prosperities of summer that pervade
Ongoing while headstrong hope and vision are made
Aware and eager. Nothing there to shun.

Autumnal toned attainment, trouble-taught
To mastery of emotion-hindered thought.
Passion outlived. Regret there need be none.

Star-sown eternity for mindsight old.
Winter endured. Time past a tale retold
Wisdom and wonder, faithful to enfold
Life, that by no disaster is undone.
