A Certain Dinner For Thirty

A dinner for thirty —
And what was the fare;
There were no grapes,
There were no honey apples,
There were no pears,
There were no pomegranates,
There were no olives,
There were no cheeses,
There was only this boar,
And a tiny one too,
That could have been killed
By an unarmed dwarf.
And after, we sat around
Gazing at nothing, intently.
