Counsail and advice to a Frend how to make Could weather appeer warme

Counsail and advice to a Frend how to make Could weather appeer warme and to dissolve Frost and Snow with Fier, Wine, and good Cheer

What thou shouldst doe whilst Phebus hides his Rayes
In a Thick Snow-filld Cloud these whiter Dayes
And Evry Mead i, coverd ore and lies
Under white Blanketings for Tapissries?
Let Bacchus Crown thy Glass, Dry wood incline
To warm thy Chimny, make thy harth to shine
And let choice Foule unto thy bord impart
What ere pertains unto the Foulers Art:
So, though the Heavens Lowre, to Thee they'l smile
Thou'lt pass time ore and stamp it mild the while.
