The English, Scottish Irish knit; increase
By a firme League the hopes of lasting peace
And as their Faith, their Lawe their King's but one
Contrive their safeties into union
Graunt Thrice-one-God these Three-fould-People may
Weavd into One onely to Thy name pray
Whilst the Scott Prelates let the Irish send
The Popedom packing, England both. Amen
For I have heard it often spoak
A Trebble Cord's not easly broak.
