Go Now, My Song

Go now, my song,
Let your wing be strong;
Fly and dart and dip
With a chip-chip,
A wren among the thorn
Of the world's scorn.

Never have a fear
Of thorn that would tear
Or the cold stare of men;
O my chitty-wren,
Let not courage fail
Your upturned tail.
