A Happy Xmas

Dear Dorothy, forgive me now,
If just at Xmas time
— which time, (in fact) is 2 a.m.
I write so brief a rhyme,

Perhaps the great Twelfth Night will bring
With the coming of the Kings —
Your book to you, my wits to me,
And other missing things.
