Healing the Wound

Hast du die Lippen mir wund geküsst

With kisses my lips were wounded by you,
So kiss them well again;
And if by evening you are not through,
You need not hurry then.

For you have still the whole, long night,
Darling, to comfort me!
And what long kisses and what delight
In such a night may be.
