Where is thy homeland,
Flowerland or foamland?
Parkland
Or larkland,
Where wert thou born?
Was it some farland?
Cloudland or starland?
Was it an isle at the Gates of the Morn?

Where is thy homeland,
Flowerland or foamland?
Turf-land
Or surf-land,
Where didst thou rise?
All my soul's clod-land
Grows to a God-land,
Under the spell of thy voice and thine eyes.

Bud-land
Or scud-land,
Where didst thou spring?
All my heart's dune-land
Grows to a moonland,
Seeing thy beauty, and hearing thee sing.
