I Am a Little Wave

I am a little wave, and thou — the wild shore. Urged by an unseen hand I hasten on my appointed path to thee, my broad, dread, dismal shore. And into an eternal sweet delusion my little song will lull thee — I am thy dream. Soon wilt thou drive me from thee, yet of me shall linger for a while a little foam.
