To the Learned, Judicious, and My Much-Honoured Alye, Sir Francis Lovell, Knight

To the learned, indicious and my much-honoured alye, Sir Francis Louell, Knight.

Deere knight, I am thine owne, by bonds us strong
As bloud can make, or humblest loue compose;
Then thee I may not praise, sith praise they wrong
Who praise themselues. But Truth will this approue:
Thou art much more then thou wilt seeme to bee;
Yet bee thou wilt, what best beseemeth thee.
