Classic Poem

Let it not a Lover pique
To have German for his Greek;
Since whatever tongue they speak,
Kisses tender once a week,
Pressed for him by maiden meek,
(Oft so called in phrases sleek)
Should be well received by her man,
Even tho' they babble German!
