From a Letter to Derwent Coleridge, 22 January 1852

Darran was a bold man
And Darran was a bad—
Darran came to my house
And stole away my Dad.

I'll go to Darran's house
When Darran i'nt at home—
Poke about his library
To find his biggest tome.

Back I'll go to Darran's house
When Darran is in bed,
Seize upon his biggest tome,
And beat about his head.
