Lost! Cupid!/ One lost Cupid!

Lost! Cupid!
One lost Cupid!
Since daybreak.
Meleager's delectable
bed empty.
One lost boy!
Viz & to wit:
winged,
cheeky,
a chatterbox,
laughs & cries at the same time,
smirks,
distrusted by all his acquaintance,
origin unknown,
Zeus, Gea, Poseidon,
disclaim liability,
armed & certainly dangerous,
beware!
But a moment —
You say you have found him?

Where?
Lo! with fierce bow
who lurks below
her lashes, shoots
where eyen flash:
ZENOPHILE!
