The Perfect Kid who constantly has to score 90 because otherwise what will society say?
The Perfect Kid who has to be thin, be polite, has to excel at everything because otherwise she is a a shame to her family.
The kid who everyone has expectations from.
The kid who takes all the taunts, all the mockery silently.
The kid who is not able to handle years of pressure.
She puts on a smile and performs in front of the world like a porcelain doll.
Hiding her bruises, hiding her battle scars from everyone.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
IS FAILING SUCH A BAD THING?
She screams at the world! It echoes. It resonates.
She screams yet again only this time at an empty black, depthless void.
The void looks at her and slowly but gradually starts to engulf her.
Day after day, the light in her stops shinning. Each part of that light replaced by the void.
When, one day the void completely devours her.
Next to her lightless self, lie a note
“Even the perfect kid has imperfections”
“Even the perfect kid has issues”
“Even the perfect kid can break”
