The Moon

‘What gars Garskadden luk sae gash?’
Kilmardinny said to one,
While late into the early morn
They sat drinking on.

‘Garskadden's been wi' his Maker
These twa hours,’ said he;
‘I saw him step awa, but, faith,
Why spoil gude company?’
